The project envisages a “Common Effluent Treatment Plant at Saykha, Bharuch”.
GIDC has estimated an effluent inflow of 40 MLD based on the sectors planned in Saykha Industrial Estate.
Area (in hectareS) : 427.3 Estimated Effluent generation (in MLD) : 15.38
Area (in hectareS) : 543.5 Estimated Effluent generation (in MLD) : 4.91
Area (in hectareS) : 212.3 Estimated Effluent generation (in MLD) : 11.68
Area (in hectareS) : 148.3 Estimated Effluent generation (in MLD) : 4.89
(in Hectres): 1332
(in MLD) : 37
There are 3 CETPs in the same region, in Jhagadia, Ankleshwar and Panoli with the total capacity of around 63 MLD. However these CETPs are addressing the current effluent generation in the region.
Additionally considering the rapid industrial growth in Dahej region augmenting treatment capacity GPCPSIR is inevitable.
The Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) is conceptualised to service the pollutants emitted by the Small Scale Industry (SSI) clusters
